We're launching a merchant education series (and you're invited)
Accelerate your learning and equip yourself to sell better online.
We're trying something new this December.
We're hosting a series of live workshops for digital product sellers. Not webinars where someone talks at you for an hour. Not sales pitches disguised as education. Actual workshops where you can learn specific strategies, ask questions, and walk away with something you can implement today.
We're bringing in five guest merchants who have built successful digital businesses to teach you how to do the same. Each session focuses on one specific area where we've seen merchants struggle: email marketing, pricing strategy, checkout optimization, and getting free press.
And we're making it free. No cost to attend, no hidden fees, no requirement to be a SendOwl customer.
What you'll learn
We've designed each workshop around a specific challenge that digital product sellers face when growing their businesses.
Email marketing fundamentals (December 4, 1PM EST):

Pascal, who has built a successful creator business and now writes email campaigns for other companies, will break down how to create email marketing that actually converts. This isn't about blasting your list with promotions. It's about building relationships that lead to sales.

How to drive free PRÂ (December 8, 11 AM EST):

Chris Birch of Modiphus Entertainment will show you how to get press coverage for your digital products without hiring a PR firm or spending money on ads. You'll learn the specific approaches that work for small businesses and solo creators.

Pricing strategy for lower-priced products (December 9, 11 AM EST):

Sara Borgstede, creator of The Holy Mess, will cover how to price digital products in the $10-50 range. This includes positioning, perceived value, and when to use discounts effectively.

Practical ways to improve product pages and checkout (December 10, 10 AM EST):

Kim Dave, independent fashion designer and content creator, will walk through how to structure your product pages and checkout process to increase conversions. Small changes to your checkout flow can significantly impact your revenue.

Pricing strategy for higher-priced products (December 11, 11 AM EST):

Matt Ting will focus on pricing digital products above $50. This requires different positioning and sales strategies than lower-priced items.
Each session includes time for Q&A and will give you at least one actionable item you can implement in your business.
How it works
All workshops are live and will be recorded. If you can't make a session, you'll be able to access the recording in our Circle community.
Sessions run 30-60 minutes depending on the topic and questions. We're keeping them short because we know your time is valuable.
You don't need to be a SendOwl customer to attend. These workshops are designed to help any digital product seller, regardless of what platform you're using.
Get rewarded for showing up
We're launching a new community space on Circle where you can connect with other merchants, access workshop recordings, and continue conversations after each session.
To encourage participation, we're offering free SendOwl subscription months (up to Pro level) for:
- Joining the Circle community
- Attending a full workshop session
- Participating in discussions about the workshops
Yes, you can stack these. Attend all five workshops and engage in the discussions, and you could earn several months of free SendOwl access.
Why we're doing this
We've been thinking a lot about what it means to support digital product sellers. The technical side matters - reliable checkout, tax compliance, delivery infrastructure. But that's table stakes.
What sellers actually need is help growing their businesses. You need to know how to price your products, optimize your checkout, market effectively, and get attention for what you're selling.
We can't solve all of that through software alone. So we're bringing in people who have actually done it. Merchants who have built successful digital businesses and can share what worked (and what didn't).
This is the first round of workshops. If these go well, we'll do more. Different topics, different teachers, same goal of giving you practical knowledge you can use immediately.

You can join the Circle community and register for workshops here.
We'll send reminders before each session with the Zoom links and any prep materials.
Questions about the series? Reply to any SendOwl email and you'll reach an actual human who can help.
